I'm Shooting Again!

Today I was actually allowed to shoot something other than sports. Since the addition of like 10 million photographers to the DN staff, I haven't been able to get my hands on any assignments except for sports (and only football at that). I'm not complaining about a trip to Cali, or the free food at Memorial Stadium (thanks Val's), but I am just kind of sportsed out. I never thought that those words would come out of my mouth. Don't get me wrong, there is a huge adrenaline rush when it comes to Husker football (I still get goosebumps when they play the tunnel walk music), but I am just ready for other things. Tonight I was able to shoot a sweet band from Lincoln called the Hooligans. They were a blast to hang out with. I not only came away with some nice pictures, but I got some free CDs and a pair of free ear plugs. Not too bad for one night.

I also got an email back from one of my photo idols after I informed him that he had a mistake on his site. He not only wrote back really quick, but thanked me greatly. It was a really nice feeling.

Tonight Nat and I went bowling with Andrew and Lindsay. Lindsay ended up smashing us all. I never thought that I would get beat in bowling by a sorority girl. Oh well, she could probably kick my butt in most things, including a street fight.

Comments:
You FORGOT to mention that I beat you all! Lowest score wins in bowling right?

chris. i dig the new digs. nice picture! funny. and thanks for the link. with your help, alogs will soon be everywhere.

i look forward to seeing more!

natalie, i've never trusted someone who is good at bowling, so a low score is aces in my book.
