Basketball already? No, not really.
Tonight was the beginning to the Doc Sadler era as the Nebraska basketball coach. Wow, what a start to what looks like a terrible season. Nebraska snuck past the D2 University of Nebraska-Kearney, 74-72 on a last second three-pointer. We lack height, speed, offense, and defense (not to mention our Australian star is out for a couple more weeks). Yes Doc got the win, but it didn't look pretty. The only good thing to come out of Monday night's game was the giant crowd that saw the Skers win. It had to have been the biggest crowd to ever see a Nebraska home opener. It was really nice to see that the state is interested in something other then just football. GO VOTE! It is your duty as an American.

Paid attendance was 9710.
Actual attendence was 6,500.
Either way, it's bigger than most crowds last season, I think.
